DAY 1: NAIROBI/LAIKIPIA

Depart Nairobi in custom-built safari vehicle for Sweetwater's Tented Camp located in OL Pejeta Conservancy. Lunch and afternoon game drive in OL Pejeta which is a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya.

The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

Dinner & overnight at Sweetwater's Tented Camp

Sweetwater's Tented Camp SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP: Set in a 22000 acre wildlife sanctuary, this unique camp is a favourite with intrepid travellers looking for a tented camp experience in a well cared for animal sanctuary.

Accommodation is provided in 30 luxuriously appointed tents and each tent has a thatched roof, an ensuite bathroom and its own verandah with views over the waterhole. Full room service is provided.

Sweetwater's Tented Camp prides itself on the quality of its cuisine offering a 5-course "table d'hote" dining experience every night, and a selection of African, Asian, and international dishes. Today, Sweetwater's continues to excel in the provision of privileged seclusion and private game.

DAY 2: SWEETWATER'S/SAMBURU

Early morning game drive in the conservancy then breakfast.
Depart for Samburu Game Reserve in the Northern Frontier District arriving for lunch. There will be chance of game viewing in the afternoon.

Dinner & overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge

Samburu Serena Lodge Samburu Serena Lodge is set in a landscape of endless skies, dust-red plains and palm-fringed rivers, this refreshingly rustic lodge is renowned for the timeless beauty of its landscape and the serene tranquility.

Each room is accommodated in a prettily shingled timber cottage with its own blossomed veranda looking out over the river. The breeze-cooled bar and dining area overlooks the flood-lit expanses of the river and game viewing arena where lumbering herds of elephant gather nightly and shy leopards are lured to the forked branch of an acacia tree where a haunch of meat has been laid out for them. Menus are styled to feature traditional bush barbecues, spicy ethnic cuisine, internationally-themed dishes and a broad selection of hearty safari favourites.

DAY 3: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

Today enjoy morning & afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve. Samburu National Park is a rugged semi-arid park in the Northern Frontier District of Kenya.

The game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals that can only be found in this park, like the long necked gerenuk, gravy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the Beisa onyx.

The leopard is a frequent visitor in this park and most evenings it pays a courtesy call to the camp's guests as it feeds on some bite on a tree across the river. The park has an abundant species of birds and is considered by Ornithologists a paradise for bird viewing.

DAY 4: SAMBURU/MOUNT KENYA

Breakfast & drive to Mount Kenya Safari Club arriving for lunch. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 5: MOUNT KENYA/LAKE NAKURU

Breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving for lunch.
This afternoon enjoy a game drive in the park.

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic views of the Lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park The Lodge is cleverly laid out such that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views. The Lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds.

They offer a private toilet and shower, mosquito nets and electricity. All bedrooms have verandas with panoramic views of the flamingo pink-rimmed lake.

DAY 6: NAKURU/MAASAI MARA

Breakfast and depart for Maasai Mara arriving for lunch at Sarova Mara Camp. Afternoon game drive.

Club Tents offer breathtaking views of the Mara plains. They are luxurious and extremely spacious decorated in whites and soothing earthy colors with large beds, loungers, wardrobes and a desk. Standard Tents are are large and comfortable, tastefully furnished with double and twin beds, wardrobes, writing desk and safari chairs.

Family tents are two in one sharing a spacious common lounge overlooking a lovely pond teeming with birds. One tent has a double bed and the other has a twin with space to fit a third bed for a family with children.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. It is situated in the northern tip of the Serengeti National Park and just west of the Great Rift Valley. Maasai Mara is where the word "safari" comes in to its true light, meaning and reality.

Everything about Maasai Mara is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Game drives in the Mara offer breathtaking views of an extraordinary density of animals including all the big five and many varieties of plains game as well as thousands of birds of prey.

DAY 8: MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI

Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving at mid day and drop off at your Nairobi hotel. End of safari.
