The Big Game Honeymoon Experience

DAY 1: NAIROBI/AMBOSELI

Depart Nairobi Wilson Airport at 1000hrs for your 50 minute flight into the heart of the Amboseli Game Reserve located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. You'll be met at the airstrip by your safari guide from the camp in 4x4 safari vehicle to transfer to Tortilis Camp for check in. After lunch enjoy a game drive in Park that will give you opportunity to see thousands of elephants and other animals as well as birds.

Overnight: Satao Elerai Safari Camp

SATAO ELERAI SAFARI CAMP

Satao Elerai Camp is located in a quiet, unspoilt, unique setting on a 5000 acre private conservation area 12 kms south east of Amboseli National Park at the foot of Africa’s Largest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. The camp looks down onto the Amboseli National Park in one direction and up to Mt Kilimanjaro in the other direction, giving clients what is arguably the best location of any camp in Amboseli.

The camp currently has 9 luxury en suite mountain facing tents and 5 large luxurious lodge style suites. Both the tents and the suites are en suite with the suites also having luxurious baths. The facilities are supplied with hot running water provided by eco friendly solar units.

One of the biggest advantages of Satao Elerai Camp is that being located on its own private conservation area clients have the chance to view wildlife in private surroundings. In addition the camp offers clients the chance to enjoy spectacular bush sundowners, night game drives and game walks on the conservancy.

The rooms at Satao Elerai Camp were built and designed to ensure that your stay will be in complete luxury. Huge beds with top quality mattresses and pillows and a large luxurious duvet ensure that you will sleep through the night in total comfort. Large sliding doors open out onto your own private verandah overlooking the plains below and Amboseli National Park. Each room has its own bathroom with a view, designed using natural rock and acacia wood the bathrooms have a design and feel unique to Elerai.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI/NAIROBI/SAMBURU

Depart Nairobi Wilson Airport at 1000hrs for your 50 minute flight into the heart of the Samburu Game Reserve. You'll be met at the airstrip by your safari guide from the camp in 4x4 safari vehicle to transfer to your camp check in. After lunch enjoy a game drive in Samburu Game Reserve.

Overnight Samburu Intrepids Club

SAMBURU INTREPIDS CLUB: Perched on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the heart of Samburu National Reserve, Samburu Intrepids enjoys a unique perspective of one of Africa's most celebrated wildernesses.

A freeform 'oasis' swimming pool, sunbathing garden and professional flex-body therapy sessions invite guests to unwind and relax into the comfort and beauty of the African way of life.

DAY 3: SAMBURU/MAASAI MARA

Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You'll be met at the airstrip by your safari guide and transferred to camp for check in. Lunch and afternoon game drive.

Overnight Naibor Camp

NAIBOR CAMP is situated in Southern Kenya on the banks of the Talek River within the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, near the confluence where the Talek River meets the Mara River.

The tents nestle amongst a riverine forest and are spaced so that each has a unique view of the surrounding bush and wildlife.

The main 'mess' tent at Naibor Camp is beautifully located overlooking the Talek River and beyond where animals regularly come to drink.

DAY 4: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Today enjoy game drives in this world famous MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. It is situated in the northern tip of the Serengeti National Park and just west of the Great Rift Valley.

Overnight Naibor Camp

DAY 5: MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI

Early morning game drive. Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for SAFARILINK flight to Nairobi departing 1100hrs and arriving Nairobi around 1215hrs at the end of your safari.
