DAY 1: NAIROBI/AMBOSELI

Depart Nairobi in a custom-built safari vehicle and drive south to Amboseli National Park arriving for lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drive.

AMBOSELI SERENA SAFARI LODGE Framed against the glorious backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, the magnificently beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro, surrounded by miles of rolling grasslands, patrolled by vast herds of elephant, shaded by the lush, feathered-green of an acacia grove and hugging the banks of a gently flowing river, this very traditional yet supremely luxurious lodge is the safari destination of a lifetime.

Guests can also enjoy an acacia-shaded swimming pool fed daily by the melt-waters of Kilimanjaro, a selection of natural timber game viewing decks and a water hole for the animals.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Whole day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli National Reserve was opened to visitors in 1948 and it has been designated as an international biosphere reserve and covers an area of 392 square kilometers.

Visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants and get the best views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

During a kenya wildlife safari wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wild dog, and hippo. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, marital eagle and pygmy falcon.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI/RIFT VALLEY

Depart Amboseli for the Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Sunbird Lodge on the shores of Lake Elementaita. This afternoon enjoy boat ride to see birdlife on Lake Naivasha and a walk with antelopes and giraffe in the Crescent Island.

Dinner & overnight at Sunbird Lodge

Sunbird Lodge is set on 55 acres of private land on the shores of Lake Elementaita. It is named after one of the more than 450 species of birds found in this area.

Enjoy an unspoilt views over Lake Elementaita and Soysambu Conservancy. The lodge's experienced chefs prepare mouth watering meals and two fire places will keep guests warm and spreads a romantic atmosphere.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for full day game drive with picnic lunch.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK is a small, shallow, alkaline-saline lake located in a closed basin without outlets in the Eastern Rift Valley.

It is a major National Park and an important sanctuary for Rhino. Both Black and White Rhino are found here, and are often seen resting

Exploring beyond the lake is always rewarding and there are forests, cliffs, waterfalls and more to be found here. In the afternoon return to Lake Elementaita.

DAY 5: NAIVASHA/MAASAI MARA

Depart for Maasai Mara arriving for lunch at Sarova Mara Camp. Afternoon game drive.

Family tents are two in one sharing a spacious common lounge overlooking a lovely pond teeming with birds. One tent has a double bed and the other has a twin with space to fit a third bed for a family with children.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary.

Game drives in the Mara offer breathtaking views of an extraordinary density of animals including all the big five and many varieties of plains game as well as thousands of birds of prey.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI

Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving at mid day and drop off at your Nairobi hotel. End of safari.
