1: NAIROBI/MERU

Depart Nairobi Wilson Airport at 0730hrs for your 50 minute flight into the heart of Meru National Park. You'll be met at the airstrip by your safari guide from the camp and transferred to Elsa Kopje for check in. Lunch and afternoon game drive.

Overnight Elsa Kopje

Elsa Kopje Camp ELSA KOPJE is set in the untamed wilderness of Meru National Park. Named after the Elsa the lioness of 'Born Free' fame, the lodge is invisible to the eye as you approach the kopje.

2: MERU NATIONAL PARK

Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives at MERU NATIONAL PARK.

MERU NATIONAL PARK straddles the equator and is bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain-fed streams. The park is wild and one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya.

Overnight Elsa Kopje

3: MERU/MAASAI MARA

Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for scheduled flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You'll be met at the airstrip by your safari guide with a 4x4 safari vehicle and transferred to NAIBOR CAMP for check in. Lunch and afternoon game drive.

Overnight Naibor Camp

NAIBOR CAMP is situated in Southern Kenya on the banks of the Talek River within the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, near the confluence where the Talek River meets the Mara River. The main 'mess' tent at Naibor Camp is beautifully located overlooking the Talek River and beyond where animals regularly come to drink.

4: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Today enjoy game drives in this world famous MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. It is situated in the northern tip of the Serengeti National Park and just west of the Great Rift Valley.

Game drives in the Mara offer breathtaking views of an extraordinary density of animals including all the big five and many varieties of plains game as well as thousands of birds of prey.

5: MAASAI MARA/SHOMPLE

Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Shompole You'll be met at the airstrip by your safari guide and transferred to the lodge. Lunch and afternoon game drive.

Overnight Shompole Lodge

SHOMPOLE LODGE is situated high on the Nguruman Escarpment near Lake Natron and the Tanzanian border - and is surely the most stylish lodge in Kenya.

All the rooms are en-suite, and are constructed with naturally occurring white quartz stone and pale thatch. With privacy, comfort and relaxation in mind, each room consists of a 'cool-pool' and informal sitting area, a bathroom with a view and a specially designed tent bedroom.

The main lounge and dining area are built under a high thatch roof overlooking Mount Shompole, and are ideally positioned to make the most of both the incredible view and the cool breeze.

6: SHOMPOLE

Full day Shompole with morning and afternoon game drives that will include visit to Lake Natron.

SHOMPOLE GROUP RANCH: This conservancy is home to many species of animals and birdlife and includes one of the most ecologically diverse areas in Africa with environments ranging from rainforest, through acacia woodland, grass plains, riverine forest, salt plains and soda lakes. There is an abundance of plains game and night animals frequently seen include aardwolf, civet, serval cats leopard and striped hyena. Elephant, lion and cheetah are found in the swamp and grassy plains, while the birdlife is varied and plentiful.

7: SHOMPOLE/NAIROBI

Early morning game drive. Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi departing 1000hrs and arriving Nairobi around 1030hrs at the end of your safari.
