Porini Exodus Honeymoon Experience

DAY 1: NAIROBI/SELENKAY CONSERVANCY

Depart Nairobi and drive south to Selenkay Conservation Area arriving at Porini Camp on time for lunch.

Thereafter enjoy sundowners at scenic points on the way back to the camp.

Overnight Amboseli Porini Camp

AMBOSELI PORINI CAMP consists of 9 spacious guest tents, comfortably furnished and with ensuite bathrooms including shower, wash basin and flush toilet. Tents have solar-powered electric lighting. African safaris are ideal for honeymoons.

The camp provides an exclusive experience catering to a maximum of 18 guests at a time.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Awake to the noisy calls of the birds.

Following a picnic lunch in the park, we return to Porini Camp later in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoints, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and other species.

SELENKAY CONSERVANCY lies a few miles north of Amboseli National Park and is an important dispersal area and rangeland for wildlife migrating out of Amboseli. Selenkay Conservation Area is well off the beaten track and has not been visited by tourists until now.

Within the conservation area the following animals have been seen recently: elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, Thompson's and Grant's gazelles, gerenuk, impala, Oryx, lesser kudu, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, striped hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox, caracal, African wild cat, serval cat, genet cat, honey badger, mongoose and ostrich. Birdlife is prolific, especially birds of prey.

Overnight Amboseli Porini Camp

DAY 3: AMBOSELI/NAIROBI/LAIKIPIA

Breakfast and transfer to Amboseli Airstrip for the scheduled flight to Nairobi. At Wilson Airport connect scheduled flight to Nanyuki. On arrival, you will be met by your driver guide in 4x4 safari vehicle. Transfer to your camp for check in. After lunch enjoy game drive in OL Pejeta Conservancy.

Overnight Kicheche Laikipia Camp

KICHECHE LAIKIPIA CAMP is a small luxurious tented camp, nestled at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking a waterhole, in the centre of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The camp consists of six luxurious tents.

There are comfortable chairs on each verandah overlooking the plains as well as a spacious well furnished lounge and dining tent.

DAY 4: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

This day is spend exploring the massive OL Pejeta Conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is 90,000 acres of wilderness and offers an incredibly uncrowded environment to enjoy quality game viewing.

The Conservancy lies on the Equator 30 minutes drive from Nanyuki airstrip and affords wonderful views of Mount Kenya.

DAY 5: NANYUKI/MAASAI MARA

After breakfast, transfer to Nanyuki Airstrip for scheduled flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival, you will be met by your driver guide in 4x4 safari vehicle.Transfer to your camp for check in. After lunch enjoy game drive in OL Pejeta Conservancy.

Overnight Kicheche Bush Camp

KICHECHE BUSH CAMP is located in the Masai Mara within the Olare Orok Conservancy bordering the Mara Game Reserve.

Accommodation consists of six spacious, fully insect-proof custom designed tents, equipped with twin or double beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs.

There are comfortable chairs on each verandah overlooking the plains.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Proceed to Maasai Mara Game Reserve for game drive with picnic lunch.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. It is situated in the northern tip of the Serengeti National Park and just west of the Great Rift Valley. Maasai Mara is where the word "safari" comes in to its true light, meaning and reality.
