DAY 1: NAIROBI/SELENKAY CONSERVANCY

Depart Nairobi and drive south to Selenkay Conservation Area arriving at Porini Camp on time for lunch. Following afternoon tea, you will be escorted on a walk by Maasai warriors to a Maasai village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Thereafter enjoy sundowners at scenic points on the way back to the camp.

Overnight Amboseli Porini Camp

AMBOSELI PORINI CAMP consists of 9 spacious guest tents, comfortably furnished and with ensuite bathrooms including shower, wash basin and flush toilet.

The camp provides an exclusive experience catering to a maximum of 18 guests at a time.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing.

In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoints, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and other species.

SELENKAY CONSERVATION AREA is well off the beaten track and has not been visited by tourists until now.

Within the conservation area the following animals have been seen recently: elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, Thompson's and Grant's gazelles, gerenuk, impala, Oryx, lesser kudu, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, striped hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox, caracal, African wild cat, serval cat, genet cat, honey badger, mongoose and ostrich. Birdlife is prolific, especially birds of prey.

DAY 3: SELENKAY/NAIROBI/RIFT VALLEY

Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant.
THE CARNIVORE is considered 'Africa's Greatest Eating Experience'.

After lunch drive to Lake Elementaita in the Great Rift Valley. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy a number of activities in the lodge that will include nature walk to the shore of the lake.

Overnight Sunbird Lodge

Sunbird Lodge is set on 55 acres of private land on the shores of Lake Elementaita. It is named after one of the more than 450 species of birds found in this area. Beautifully nestled in a pristine environment above Lake Elementaita, here one can experience the most amazing sunsets.

The lodge's experienced chefs prepare mouth watering meals and two fire places will keep guests warm and spreads a romantic atmosphere.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for full DAY game drive with picnic lunch.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK is a small, shallow, alkaline-saline lake located in a closed basin without outlets in the Eastern Rift Valley.

Nakuru has more than just flamingos. It is a major National Park and an important sanctuary for Rhino. Both Black and White Rhino are found here, and are often seen resting under acacias by the Lake shore.

In the afternoon return to Lake Elementaita.

DAY 5: LAKE ELEMENTAITA/MAASAI MARA

Breakfast and drive to maasai mara game reserve arriving for lunch. this afternoon enjoy sundowners at scenic sites and night game drive.

Overnight Mara Porini Camp

MARA PORINI CAMP has recently been set up in the exclusive wildlife conservancy of Ol Kinyei, one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Serengeti-Mara Eco-system. The camp has 6 guest tents sited in the shade of Yellow-barked Acacia trees along the banks of the Laetoli, a permanent spring within Ol Kinyei Conservancy.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Today proceed for full day game drive Maasai Mara Game Reserve with picnic lunch. MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary.

Game drives in the Mara offer breathtaking views of an extraordinary density of animals including all the big five and many varieties of plains game as well as thousands of birds of prey.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI

Early moring game drive in the conservancy. Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Nairobi departing 1100hrs. 1215hrs Arrive Wilson Airport at the end of your safari.
