DAY 1: NAIROBI LAIKIPIA

Depart Nairobi in a custom buit safari vehicle for Sweetwater's Tented Camp located in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Lunch and afternoon game drive.

DAY 2: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

Today enjoy morning & afternoon game drives in OL Pejeta Conservancy.

OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY: Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Informally Known as Sweetwater's Conservancy for the location of Sweetwater's Tented Camp), is a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya.

The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

The Chimpanzee Sanctuary: The Sanctuary is partitioned into two parts, with the river acting as a natural border between the two Chimpanzee groups.

The sole objective of the sanctuary is to provide a safe, secure and permanent refuge for theses chimpanzees in an environment that is as natural as possible.

The Rhino Sanctuary: In response to the drastic reduction in rhino numbers through poaching, Kenya decided to set up specially protected and fenced sanctuaries for rhino conservation.

Twenty-two black rhinos were introduced into Sweetwater's from other sanctuaries between 1989 and 1993.

DAY 3: SWEETWATER'S/GREAT RIFT VALLEY

Depart Sweetwater's for the Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Sunbird Lodge on the shores of Lake Elementaita. This afternoon enjoy boat ride to see birdlife on Lake Naivasha and a walk with antelopes and giraffe in the Crescent Island.

Dinner & overnight at Sunbird Lodge

Sunbird Lodge is set on 55 acres of private land on the shores of Lake Elementaita. It is named after one of the more than 450 species of birds found in this area.

The lodge's experienced chefs prepare mouth watering meals and two fire places will keep guests warm and spreads a romantic atmospher

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for full day game drive with picnic lunch.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK is a small, shallow, alkaline-saline lake located in a closed basin without outlets in the Eastern Rift Valley.

The park abounds with other game as well. There are huge herds of waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, the endangered Rothschild Giraffe and more. Exploring beyond the lake is always rewarding and there are forests, cliffs, waterfalls and more to be found here. In the afternoon return to Lake Elementaita.

DAY 5: NAIVASHA/MAASAI MARA

Depart for Maasai Mara arriving for lunch at Sarova Mara Camp. Afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Camp

Sarova Mara Game Camp offers front seats to nature's most breathtaking show - the wildebeest migration. The camp is well positioned to enjoy this unique phenomenon. The rolling plains around the Camp are teeming with wildebeest, gazelles and zebras, during the migration months and the Camp is situated right in the center of their migration path. Sarova Mara Game Camp is also the ideal choice for those seeking a richer experience of Maasai Mara that goes much beyond just game drives.

Family tents are two in one sharing a spacious common lounge overlooking a lovely pond teeming with birds. One tent has a double bed and the other has a twin with space to fit a third bed for a family with children.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. It is situated in the northern tip of the Serengeti National Park and just west of the Great Rift Valley.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI

Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving at mid day and drop off at your Nairobi hotel. End of safari.
