DAY 1: NGORONGORO

Overnight Lemala Ngorongoro Camp

LEMALA NGORONGORO is a new intimate camp on the rim of the crater offering luxury accommodation under canvas in large spacious tents with wooden platform and rugs. Each tent has 2 large single beds or a king size double bed with thick duvets for warmth and comfort, a heater to warm the tent, and a private bathroom that includes a dressing area, flush loo, shower and basin with running water.

Laundry and house beverages (wine, beer, spirits, soda, water, tea and coffee) are included at meal time. Lemala Ngorongoro offers great charm and luxury in a delightful prime location on the rim of the crater.

DAY 2: NGORONGORO

NGORONGORO CRATER is a fascinating and unusual conservation area which includes the phenomena of the Ngorongoro Crater at its centre, and then extends through the Crater Highlands, in which local tribes are permitted to maintain their traditional lifestyles in as natural environment as possible. This extraordinary volcanic landscape is rich and fertile, with stunning craters and lakes, and the high altitude creates a malaria-free micro climate.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact caldera in an exceptional geographical position, forming a spectacular bowl of about 265 square kilometres with sides up to 600m deep, the stalking ground of around 20,000 to 30,000 wild animals at any one time.

Although animals are free to move in and out of this contained environment, the rich volcanic soil, lush forests and spring source lakes on the crater floor tend to incline both grazers and predators to remain here throughout the year.

DAY 3: NOTHERN SERENGETI

Overnight Klein's Camp

KLEIN'S CAMP is located deep in the heart of the game-rich, remote northern Serengeti. Its private wildlife concession is for the exclusive use of the camp's 20 guests, offering you a truly exclusive safari experience.

Klein's Camp features just 10 cottages of local rock and thatch with rich wooden floors and classic interiors. Each cottage has an en suite bathroom and private veranda from where a diversity of resident wildlife, including huge elephant herds, can be viewed.

DAY 4: NORTHERN SERENGETI

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK is one of the most celebrated wildlife reserves in the world. This phenomenal National Park, created to preserve the path of the world's largest intact migration circuit, covers nearly 15,000 square kilometres.

This land is justifiably famous for its huge concentrations of wildlife, especially the big cats, as well as being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival.
