DAY 1: NAIROBI/SWEETWATERS

Depart Nairobi in 4x4 safari vehicle for Sweetwater's Tented Camp located in OL Pejeta Conservancy. Lunch and afternoon game drive.

Sweetwaters Tented Camp SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP: Set in a 22000 acre wildlife sanctuary, this unique camp is a favourite with intrepid travellers looking for a tented camp experience in a well cared for animal sanctuary.

Sweetwater's Tented Camp prides itself on the quality of its cuisine offering a 5-course "table d'hote" dining experience every night, and a selection of African, Asian, and international dishes. Today, Sweetwater's continues to excel in the provision of privileged seclusion and private game.

DAY 2: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

Today enjoy morning & afternoon game drives in OL Pejeta Conservancy.

OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY: Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Informally Known as Sweetwater's Conservancy for the location of Sweetwater's Tented Camp), is a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya.

The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

The Chimpanzee Sanctuary: The Sanctuary is partitioned into two parts, with the river acting as a natural border between the two Chimpanzee groups.

The sole objective of the sanctuary is to provide a safe, secure and permanent refuge for theses chimpanzees in an environment that is as natural as possible.

The Rhino Sanctuary: In response to the drastic reduction in rhino numbers through poaching, Kenya decided to set up specially protected and fenced sanctuaries for rhino conservation.

Twenty-two black rhinos were introduced into Sweetwater's from other sanctuaries between 1989 and 1993.

DAY 3: SWEETWATERS/NAIVASHA

Breakfast and drive into The Great Rift Valley arriving Malewa Wildlife Lodge on time for lunch. Enjoy afternoon activities that will include walking with giraffes in the conservancy.

Overnight Malewa Wildlife Lodge

Malewa Wildlife Lodge MALEWA WILDLIFE LODGE is a small and exclusive 5 cottage eco friendly lodge nested in the shades of Acacia trees on the banks of Malewa River. The ambiance of the lodge has been sought to bring the visitor close to nature, sounds of Africa bush, bird songs and the flow of water over the pebbles. Malewa Wildlife Lodge consists of 4 river front suites and one family cottage with two rooms all with ensuite bathrooms and amenities. The Lodge offers fullboard accommodation with equisite cuisine.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for full day game drive with picnic lunch.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK: Lake Nakuru is a small, shallow, alkaline-saline lake located in a closed basin without outlets in the Eastern Rift Valley.

Both Black and White Rhino are found here, and are often seen resting under acacias by the Lake shore. The park abounds with other game as well.

There are huge herds of waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, the endangered Rothschild Giraffe and more. Exploring beyond the lake is always rewarding and there are forests, cliffs, waterfalls and more to be found here. Return to Malewa Wildlife Lodge late in the afternoon.

DAY 5: NAIVASHA/MAAASAI MARA

Breakfast and drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving for lunch at Kicheche Mara Camp. After lunch proceed for the afternoon game drive.

Overnight Kicheche Mara Camp

Kicheche Mara Camp KICHECHE MARA CAMP bush hideaway in Kenya welcomes you to a different world; a world centered at the heart of the African wilderness that is the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The tents are spacious and fully insect-proof and equipped with proper beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs. Bathrooms are ensuite and are equipped with a dresser, shower and flushing toilets.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Full day Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary.

Game drives in the Mara offer breathtaking views of an extraordinary density of animals including all the big five and many varieties of plains game as well as thousands of birds of prey.

DAY 7: NAIROBI

Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon at the end of your safari. You will be dropped at your Nairobi Hotel.
