DAY 1: NAIROBI/SWEETWATERS

Depart Nairobi in 4x4 safari vehicle for Sweetwater's Tented Camp located in OL Pejeta Conservancy. Lunch and afternoon game drive.

Overnight Sweetwater's Tented Camp

SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP: Set in a 22000 acre wildlife sanctuary, this unique camp is a favourite with intrepid travellers looking for a tented camp experience in a well cared for animal sanctuary.

Today, Sweetwater's continues to excel in the provision of privileged seclusion and private game viewing.

DAY 2: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

Today enjoy morning & afternoon game drives in OL Pejeta Conservancy.

OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY: Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Informally known as Sweetwater's Conservancy for the location of Sweetwater's Tented Camp), is a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya.

The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

The Chimpanzee Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is partitioned into two parts, with the river acting as a natural border between the two Chimpanzee groups. The eastern side of the sanctuary is 96 acres and home to the older group while the western side is 151 acres and home to the younger group. The sole objective of the sanctuary is to provide a safe, secure and permanent refuge for theses chimpanzees in an environment that is as natural as possible.

The Rhino Sanctuary
In response to the drastic reduction in rhino numbers through poaching, Kenya decided to set up specially protected and fenced sanctuaries for rhino conservation.

Sweetwater's game reserve was set up in 1989 and covered an area of 24,000 acres. Twenty-two black rhinos were introduced into Sweetwater's from other sanctuaries between 1989 and 1993.

DAY 3: SWEETWATERS/SAMBURU

Breakfast & depart for Samburu Game Reserve in the Northern Frontier District arriving for lunch. There will be chance of game viewing in the afternoon.

Dinner & overnight Larsen's Camp

LARSEN'S CAMP: This is a small, luxury tented camp set in lush lawns on the banks of Uaso Nyiro River inside Samburu Game Reserve in the Northern Frontier District. The camp is a classic style bush camp where even the bar and dining rooms are tented.

DAY 4: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

Today enjoy morning & afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve.

SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK is a rugged semi-arid park in the Northern Frontier District of Kenya. The Uaso Nyiro river is the lifeline and the nerve center of this reserve and is bustling with a huge population of crocodiles. The game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals that can only be found in this park, like the long necked gerenuk, gravy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the Beisa onyx. The leopard is a frequent visitor in this park and most evenings it pays a courtesy call to the camp's guests as it feeds on some bite on a tree across the river. The park has an abundant species of birds and is considered by Ornithologists a paradise for bird viewing.

DAY 5: SAMBURU/MOUNT KENYA

Breakfast & drive to Mount Kenya Safari Club arriving for lunch. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 6: MOUNT KENYA/MAASAI MARA

Breakfast and transfer to Nanyuki airstrip for flight to Maasai Mara. You will be met at the airstrip by your driver guide and transferred to the camp for check in. After lunch proceed for the afternoon game drive.

Overnight Kicheche Mara Camp

KICHECHE MARA CAMP bush hideaway in Kenya welcomes you to a different world; a world centered at the heart of the African wilderness that is the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Bathrooms are ensuite and are equipped with a dresser, shower and flushing toilets.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Full day Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. It is situated in the northern tip of the Serengeti National Park and just west of the Great Rift Valley. Maasai Mara is where the word "safari" comes in to its true light, meaning and reality.

DAY 8: NAIROBI

Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi departing 1100hrs arriving Wilson Airport 1215hrs at the end of your safari.
