Wildlife Landscapes Trail

DAY 1: NAIROBI/AMBOSELI

Depart Nairobi by road in 4x4 safari vehicle to Amboseli Game Reserve located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Tortilis Camp on time for lunch. Enjoy game drive in Park that will give you opportunity to see thousands of elephants and other animals as well as birds.

Overnight Tortilis Camp

TORTILIS CAMP: This award-winning ecotourism lodge is located just outside the Amboseli National Park in the shade of a dense natural forest of Acacia Tortilis, from which it takes its name.

The camp is a point of departure for safaris and explorations of the surrounding natural environment in Land Rovers or on foot and visits are also organized to the local Maasai villages, where guests can discover the culture of the African population.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI GAME RESERVE

Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives at Amboseli National Park.

AMBOSELI NATIONAL RESERVE: Amboseli National Reserve was opened to visitors in 1948 and is located 135 km from Nairobi.

These streams flow underground, creating lush green areas, and converge at two clear water springs in the park. Visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants and get the best views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, marital eagle and pygmy falcon.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI/NAIROBI/NAIVASHA

Breakfast and drive via Nairobi to Malewa Wildlife Lodge located in Kigio Wildlife Conservancy. Lunch and afternoon activities that will include walking with giraffes in the conservancy.

Overnight Malewa Wildlife Lodge

MALEWA WILDLIFE LODGE is a small and exclusive 5 cottage eco friendly lodge nested in the shades of Acacia trees on the banks of Malewa River. The ambiance of the lodge has been sought to bring the visitor close to nature, sounds of Africa bush, bird songs and the flow of water over the pebbles. Malewa Wildlife Lodge consists of 4 river front suites and one family cottage with two rooms all with ensuite bathrooms and amenities. The Lodge offers fullboard accommodation with equisite cuisine.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for full day game drive with picnic lunch.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK Lake Nakuru is a small, shallow, alkaline-saline lake located in a closed basin without outlets in the Eastern Rift Valley.

There are huge herds of waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, the endangered Rothschild Giraffe and more. Exploring beyond the lake is always rewarding and there are forests, cliffs, waterfalls and more to be found here. Return to Malewa Wildlife Lodge late in the afternoon.

DAY 5: NAIVASHA/MAASAI MARA

Breakfast and drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving for lunch at Kicheche Mara Camp. After lunch proceed for the afternoon game drive.

Overnight Kicheche Mara Camp

KICHECHE MARA CAMP bush hideaway in Kenya welcomes you to a different world; a world centered at the heart of the African wilderness that is the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Bathrooms are ensuite and are equipped with a dresser, shower and flushing toilets.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Full day Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.

MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary.

Everything about Maasai Mara is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Game drives in the Mara offer breathtaking views of an extraordinary density of animals including all the big five and many varieties of plains game as well as thousands of birds of prey.

DAY 7: NAIROBI

Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon at the end of your safari. You will be dropped at your Nairobi Hotel.
